Well it has been over two months and I am starting to find time to write and update consistently a challenge. As always, I read books at a crazy pace: lots of manga, but also non-fiction books mostly on graphic design and color theory (currently). I also read novels but finding the time for them has proven difficult and they are really starting to pile up.
I still haven’t mastered the “art of reviewing”. I struggle to balance describing a story’s plotline, hopefully without giving too much away, and giving my personal opinion.
I find critiquing difficult. I’m a person who tends to see all sides to an issue and can find value in everything. If something doesn’t appeal to me directly I’m inclined to want to envision the audience that it may appeal to. As I struggle to find a better way write reviews, I hope that some of what I have written is somewhat helpful for people looking for some direction as to what may be interesting to check out.
